All dancers will be required to wear proper undergarments for our show. Female dancers are required to wear tights and nude leotards under their costumes. Our tights and undergarments orders are OPEN! Please contact Ms. Carly with any questions or concerns!

Program Ads for Small Businesses

Both Full-page and half-page ads in our program are available for purchase! Digital designed files may be submitted or you may send information to us and we will happily design your ad. Payment may be added to your Parent Portal account or you may pay with cash or check at the studio. PROGRAM ADS ARE NOW CLOSED

Order Your Recital Photos

Our recital dance photos will take place during our dress rehearsal on Friday, June 19th. Parents will meet in the lobby of the auditorium and groups will be called to the stage one at a time. Backstage volunteers will be the only parents allowed in the auditorium. Dancers will be returned to the lobby once they are done rehearsing on stage and have had their photos taken.

Photography order forms will be distributed to dancers in the studio as we get closer to the date.

Dress Rehearsal & Show Information

Dress Rehearsal

Friday, June 19th

at Lincoln-Way North High School

Dress rehearsal is mandatory for all dancers participating in our show. Please note that dancers will only be required to attend for their assigned time slot, NOT the entire duration of the dress rehearsal.

All parents must drop off their dancers into the auditorium of the theater. Parents are NOT ALLOWED to stay for dress rehearsal unless they previously signed up as a backstage volunteer.

Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled stage time. We have very limited time on Friday evening, and need to stay on schedule.

Dancers will acclimate to the stage so they feel comfortable on show day.

All dancers should have a nude leotard under their costume. All dancers must arrive STAGE READY in costumes, makeup and with hair done.

Absolutely NO food is allowed in the theater and ONLY WATER is permitted. Please Never Eat or Drink anything but water in costume!

WDA is not responsible for any lost items. Please be sure you properly label your dancer's items and send them with a dance bag.

Dance Pictures

Dance pictures will also be taking place during our dress rehearsal on Friday, June 19th. Dancers will have their photos taken immediately following their assigned time slot for dress rehearsal. Parents are not permitted for photos either and must wait outside the theater in the lobby area. This will be a very quick process!

Important Show Day Details

Our recital cast must arrive at the auditorium at the following times. Dancers ages 5+ should arrive at 2:15. Dancers ages 18 months to 4 should arrive at 2:30. All dancers should arrive in their proper undergarments, costumes, and with their hair and makeup done. Volunteer backstage parents should arrive at 2:00pm.

Parents, please assist your young dancers with using the bathroom prior to check-in!

Absolutely NO parents or audience members are allowed backstage BEFORE our show or during INTERMISSION. This is to keep all of our dancers safe and accounted for. No cast members will be allowed to leave early as our entire cast is in the finale.

All dancers will be released from the stage immediately following the conclusion of our show.

Undergarments

Tights serve as underwear. NO underwear should be worn under dance tights. A nude leotard is required and must be worn at all times as a base layer.

Stage Makeup

Makeup on stage is highly recommended for all dancers. Please note that makeup can be applied heavier as stage lights make faces appear very pale and washed out.

NO NAIL POLISH OR JEWELRY SHOULD BE WORN!
